Why we built Cluable

There is a certain kind of quiet at 11pm, when you are trying to buy something or fix something and you cannot get an answer.

You have your card out. You have one small question. Will this ship before the weekend. Does it work with the thing you already own. Can you get your money back if it goes wrong. You look for the answer and it is not on the page. The help article gets close and then stops just short. The contact form promises a reply in a day or two. The little chat bubble in the corner lights up, and it turns out to be one more form.

So you put it down. You tell yourself you will come back to it later. Sometimes you do. Mostly you do not.

We started Cluable because we have been that person more times than we can count. And because we have been on the other side of it too.

We have watched small teams try to keep up with an inbox that never empties. The same questions, all day, every day. Do you ship internationally. What is your refund policy. Is there a free trial. Someone types out the answer, patiently, for the fortieth time that week, while ten more pile up behind it. It wears people down. And it is a strange way to spend the hours of people who are capable of so much more.

Here is the part that kept us up at night. None of those questions are hard. They are just endless. And the person asking is not being difficult. They are stuck right now, and they only want to keep going.

That small gap, between someone being stuck and someone getting an answer, is where trust quietly slips out of a business. You almost never see it happen. There is no angry email. The person just leaves, and you never find out why.

Cluable is our attempt to close that gap.

It is an AI support agent you can add to your site in an afternoon. You point it at your website and your help docs, and it reads all of it. Then it starts answering your customers the way you would, in your own words, using what you actually wrote. It does not sleep, so the person with a question at 11pm gets a real answer at 11pm.

We were stubborn about a few things, because we have all been let down by the other kind of bot.

It has to be honest. If the answer is not in your material, it says so and hands the person to a human, instead of confidently making something up. We would far rather it admit it does not know than sound sure and be wrong.

It has to respect your team. It is there to take the forty repeat questions off their plate, not to replace the care and judgment that only a person brings to the hard ones.

And it has to be genuinely quick to set up. No flowcharts. No six week rollout. Read the site, check what it learned, paste in one line of code.

If we believe one thing above all else, it is this. A fast, honest answer at the exact moment someone needs it is one of the kindest and most underrated things a company can offer. It is the difference between a sale and a closed tab. Between someone who stays and someone who quietly drifts away. You cannot always measure it, but you feel it, in the customers who stick around and the team that finally gets to breathe.

That is the whole reason we are here. Not to take people out of support, but to give your team back their time, and to give your customers an answer the moment they are stuck.
